Cheese Story Devlog #2

Hello everyone! Welcome to the second Cheese Story Devlog. First off, I'd really like to apologize to everyone who's been waiting for info on the game. I made a huge mistake by hyping up this game so much and then realizing I'd have to actually program, design, write, draw, and compose an entire game while balancing school. The game is 100% still being worked on, and I'm still aiming for a late 2020 - early 2021 release date. Thank you all for being so patient and understanding. I've also written this devlog 3 times now because it's failed to publish multiple times.

Anyway, today I'll be revealing a major location in Cheese Story.

This is Keso Village!

This town has many buildings and shops, including;

The Keso Inn, run by Starscream, (Edit: he is no longer in the game, I wasn't aware what he did, I was just adding people who filled out the character sheet. Sorry everyone)

The Keso Armory, run by Cruz,

and the Keso Mage Guild, hosted by Jade (cropped to avoid spoilers.)

The Keso Inn allows you to restore your party at no charge, the Keso Armory sells weapons, armor, and potions, and the Keso Mage Guild does stuff I'm not allowed to say right now.

The most important building in Keso Village is the Keso Town Hall, run by the mayor of Keso Village, Tom!

The Keso Village is situated right next to the Keso Forest!

This forest houses many things like flowers, sticks, rocks, and ghosts!

You may have noticed the new music track at the top of this page. This is the dungeon boss theme, a theme that plays when you're fighting a strong enemy in a dungeon. Although I won't show it now, you'll get to see the first dungeon in  the next devlog, as it's very fitting for spooky season. This track took ages to finish, so I hope you enjoy it.

As much as I'd  like to make it longer, this is pretty much the end of the devlog. Again, I want to thank you all for being so incredibly patient with the 1 month gap between the last update. I'm deeply sorry to keep you all waiting, but I hope you all understand. Also, for the avid Seth fans out there, he's not quite done yet. I'm nearly to a point in development where I can implement a new character, but I'm currently running 17 supercomputers to calculate Seth's immaculate biceps and create accurate sweat pore simulation.

I AM CURRENTLY TAKING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have any interest in helping me out with creating town or dungeon layouts, please DM me on discord @shoot#2448.

PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT DEVLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I plan to release a spooky devlog this month, so please check back every week or so.

Mr Developer! This looks really good and I'm excited about that Spooktober devlog. There is no need to put that much effort into Seth (^▽^)especially as you would not like to MISLEAD the fans with this very DISHONEST information regarding his 'immaculate' biceps - although I applaud you for taking into consideration that he is a very sweaty boy. The dungeon boss music sounds amazing and I'm excited to see how much It'll boost the atmosphere when fighting that strong boss enemy. Do not apologise for any delay you think you may be causing as bringing this game to life sounds difficult in itself. I'm happy you're offering help from volunteers and I'm sure something wonderful will come out of it.

If you still need a hand in a couple months when I'm a little less busy then I'd be more than happy to help.

How I imagine the developer is feeling.
